Are there any restrictions
There is a recommended skill level, as well as an age requirement for each course.
What should I wear?
Casual attire is best; we provide each guest with their own apron to bring home. Please wear
comfortable shoes, as a large portion of the classes require standing. (Stools are available if you
need a rest.)
What if I need to cancel my reservation?
All cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance. To cancel, simply respond to your
confirmation email with "CANCEL" in the subject. Upon cancellation, you will receive a full refund
via check to your provided mailing address within 2-4 weeks. Cancellations made less than 72 hours
an advance are not subject to refund. Please note that Carlo’s Bakery reserves the right to cancel
classes a minimum of one week prior to the class date, less in the event of inclement weather;
if cancelled, all monies will be refunded via check.
Will we be able to meet the cast of “Cake Boss”?
We cannot guarantee that the family members will be present for each class. All courses are taught by
a team of highly qualified bakery/culinary professionals that can assist you with any questions.
Should I eat before a culinary class?
We have a variety of samples to taste during cooking class, but we encourage guests not to come to
class on an empty stomach.
Is there a minimum age requirement?
Yes, you must be 10 or older for decorating classes and 16 or older for culinary classes. Participants
younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult enrolled in the class. The supervising adult must be
willing to sign a disclosure accepting responsibility for minor for the duration of the visit. This adult
will be able to sign off up to a maximum of 3 minors.
